From May 2nd to 12th at Culturgest, Cinema São Jorge, Cinemateca Portuguesa and Cinema Ideal, the 16th edition of IndieLisboabrings you the world's best cinema – over 250 films debates, workshops, masterclasses, meetings, parties and concerts – a wide range of fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, feature and short films divided into sections and themes, as well as IndieJúnior, a minifestival for young audiences.

In this edition, there are three important retrospectives: Anna Karina, one of the most famous nouvelle vague references is honoured at the Independent Hero section; the independent brazilian cinema; and, at Silvestre section, the focus will be the filmography of Jonathan Vinel and Caroline Poggi, the promising duo known for writing some of most exciting narrative experiences in short and feature films of the contemporary cinema.
