The exhibition presents the results of the artistic residency promoted by the Centro Cultural Raiano in Idanha-a-Nova, featuring new works by Adriana João and Inês Mendes Leal, previously unseen pieces and objects from the Centro Cultural Raiano and new acquisitions of the Caixa Geral de Depósitos Collection.

Drawing on practices ranging from the observation of natural patterns in the Idanha region to research into the synesthetic phenomena of media, the exhibition offers a close look at the artistic process as an act of listening and giving back to the territory – through recent reinterpretations of ancient artifacts – sharing a thoughtful cultural return after three months of residency. 

This initiative is part of the Desconcentrar cycle, which brings together activities focused on artistic creation and production in the visual arts across low-density territories, namely: Caramulo, Idanha-a-Nova, Abrantes, and Guarda.
