The artistic collaboration between Fidelidade Arte and Culturgest spans nearly twenty years. Since 2006, four exhibition cycles have taken place under the aegis of this partnership, showcasing the work of around eighty national and international artists. The legacy of these presences, along with the pause now announced in this collaboration, were two of the main factors that inspired the project we now bring to these galleries in the heart of Chiado, Lisbon.

Trégua is a joint work by André Maranha, Diogo Alvim, and Renato Ferrão. Invited to conceive a project for this particular moment and this particular space, their proposal took the shape of an environment. Rather than a material occupation of those rooms, Trégua summons the memory of their countless uses to shape a palimpsest of voices: the intangible gust of their echoes, reifying a withdrawal.
