Is humour universal? Why do people everywhere tell the same jokes, merely changing the nationality of the characters? Or are there cultural humours — identity-based humours? Perhaps in every tea, only one kind of fly falls.

É autor de vários livros na área das línguas e tradução, incluindo História do Português desde o Big Bang, Gramática & Pontuação e Atlas Histórico da Escrita; criador de vídeos pedagógicos e educativos com 400 mil seguidores nas redes sociais (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok e YouTube) e um número de visualizações mensais de aprox. 7 milhões. É apresentador do programa semanal Português Suave na Rádio Observador, bem como do segmento diário Esta língua que nos une na RTP 1 e RTP Notícias.
Maria João Cruz
Maria João Cruz (Barreiro, 1970), argumentista. É autora de ficção e humor para televisão e rádio, e de textos para teatro.
Para televisão, entre outros, escreveu para Herman Enciclopédia, A Última Noite, O Fabuloso Destino de Diácono Remédios, A Mãe do Senhor Ministro e Programa Cautelar. Escreveu e fez coordenação de guião de Manobras de Diversão TV, O Inimigo Público TV, Herman SIC, O Programa da Maria, Os Contemporâneos, Estado de Graça, Donos Disto Tudo, Herman SIC, Herman 2010/2013 e Cá por Casa.
