23.º Festival Internacional de Cinema

IndieLisboa

IndieLisboa – International Film Festival moves into its 23rd edition, returning to the city’s main cinemas. For over two decades, it has been bringing a diverse and thought-provoking programme, creating space for the latest national and international productions, as well as emerging and visionary works, bringing together different cultural, aesthetic, political, and geographical perspectives on screen. An endless world of cinema across 11 days of curation.

You can expect memorable premieres in the Silvestre, National, and International Competitions, including the award-winning film Blue Heron; look forward to an inspiring Retrospective, and brand-new cult films in the Boca do Inferno section, with its usual late-night marathon. Discover striking new (and old) sounds in IndieMusic, featuring the premiere of Sun Ra: Do the Impossible; take a dip in Cinema at the Pool, or enjoy a range of family-friendly activities in IndieJúnior.

IndieLisboa is more than just a film festival – it celebrates cinema both inside and outside the screening rooms, whether on the dance floor at IndieByNight, or in thematic discussions such as the LisbonTalks. Once again, IndieLisboa will be the home where cinema reinvents itself.
