Applications for performers and circus artists interested in taking part in Diana Niepce's Hornfuckers are open until 6 July. The open call is open to the disabled and non-disabled community and the audition takes place on 19 and 20 July at Culturgest. Rehearsals will take place between December 2025 and March 2026 in Montemor-o-Novo and Lisbon and the performances will take place in March, April and October, at Culturgest (Lisbon), the Dias da Dança Festival (Porto) and the CODA Festival (Oslo), respectively.
Hornfuckers is a performance that combines dance, aerialism and performance to investigate the body as an event in a post-apocalyptic universe. Inspired by chaos theory and physics, the work seeks to question social norms, dominant forces, mechanisms of oppression and power structures. With suspended bodies and the use of a suspended scenography, the piece proposes a break with the established order and tensions the boundaries between obedience and transgression.

- 9 - 14 March 2026: rehearsals in Torres Vedras
- 19 - 25 March 2026: rehearsals at Culturgest
- 26 - 28 March 2026: premiere at Culturgest
- 15 - 26 April 2026: DDD festival period in Porto, dates to be confirmed
- 7 - 19 October 2026: CODA festival period in Oslo, dates certain to be confirmed
The calendar may change.
Fixed-term contract with a basic monthly salary of €1,400, plus holiday and Christmas bonuses.
If the work takes place outside the area where you live, accommodation, meals and travel will be provided (specific conditions in each location).

The selection will take place in two stages: a pre-selection based on the written and video material sent in for the application, and then an in-person audition after the selection.
