As a closing gesture to a six-month programme of experimentation and co-creation, PACAP 8 | Mystery School of Choreography (MYS) will pour out and install their studies at Culturgest. In residence, MYS will reflect and move, create a shelter to digest together, and share an effervescent source of enchantment over three nights expanded in time and space. Meg Stuart, Ana Rocha, Márcio Canabarro, Santiago Tricot, Mieko Suzuki, Xullaji, and artists PACAP 8 | MYS, Ana Szopa, António Bollaño, Arash Khakpour, Emily da Silva, Guillermo Tarasewicz, Isabela Rossi, iSSiE - iSaAc, Julia Kosałka, Kaya Freeman, María Ibarretxe, Martha Kotsia, Michiru Shin, Natacha Campos, Raul Aranha, Salomé Pham-Van-Hué, Sepideh Khodarahmi, Śomi Śniegocka, Therese Bendjus and Tiago Vieira, offer the intersection of their real and fictional archives as an offering of vivid intention for our common futures.

How can we instil and elevate a sense of community through a legacy of multiple dimensions? Could mysticism be a crack in the real, so that we can enter an archive of what we can become? What if embodied mysticism is a radical political act? What is the revolution in our nervous system? By not looking at dance as a spectacle, but as a spell or an act of pure magic, can we reorganise our relational field by traversing the multiple realities that are rapidly changing around us? Incorporating the shared archive from the future into the present, visitors will enter a collective journey of oracular encounters, visions and dreams. MYS invites you to delve into its inner architecture. MYS explores memory as a contextual receptacle. Here, you are not a spectator. You are a fragment of the divine in upheaval, so proceed accordingly. Because archiving the future is a form of hope.
