‘A Silabário por Reconstruir’ has given rise to six educational kits based on the works featured in the exhibitions, designed specifically for the school setting, to accompany a visit to the exhibition at Culturgest Porto. These kits offer challenges in visual expression, writing workshops and three-dimensional construction, combining different forms of expression and encouraging experimentation and creativity inspired by the works on display.

Each kit includes a presentation of the works and artists. The materials are bilingual (Portuguese and English), free of charge, designed for audiences aged 3 and above, and accessible to everyone. They can be explored individually or in groups, with schools and families being especially encouraged to make use of these kits. This initiative extends the visit and invites visitors to participate, experiment and create.

The initiative forms part of A Silabário por Reconstruir, an exhibition featuring works inspired by the literary world, created by artists from various generations, who explore the relationship between the visible and the expressible, at the intersection of language and narrative. Part of the national project of the Portuguese Contemporary Art Network (RPAC), led by the Municipality of Coimbra, it has presented exhibitions at CACC (Coimbra), MACE (Elvas) and Galeria NovaOgiva (Óbidos), with its final stop being Culturgest Porto.

At Culturgest Porto, the exhibition brings together works from the State Contemporary Art Collection (CACE), the Caixa Geral de Depósitos Collection and the António Cachola Collection, by artists such as Carla Filipe, Fernanda Fragateiro, João Onofre, João Pedro Vale + Nuno Alexandre Ferreira, Luisa Cunha, Matt Mullican, Nancy Spero, Pedro Huet and Von Calhau!.
