Wherever you tune in to 2024, you'll find Cara de Espelho ubiquitously on best-of-the-year lists, receiving nominations, accolades, and awards. Suddenly, a new voice, made up of many familiar voices opened a space for revolt where fighting songs summon us with sharp, extremely accurate, and lucid slogans that bring to mind the historical dispensary of protest songs. Times may be different, certainly better in some aspects, but many of the issues that surround and oppress us are familiar, like ghosts under patched clothes.

Cara de Espelho is like a finger pointing to what lies beneath those clothes, with humour and venom in perfect measure, and with music that, not by chance, is made to resist everything.
