In this edition of Três Tempos, musician and producer Xullaji, a leading figure in Portuguese hip-hop, joins Beatriz Pessoa, a singer and songwriter whose work bridges jazz and contemporary song. From this unlikely combination emerges a shared path with young people from Lisbon, Braga and Viseu, in a collaborative process of creation. Over a series of sessions, they wrote, collected sounds, mixed memories and everyday noises, exploring improvisation and composition as spaces of encounter. The result now comes to the stage: a collective, open and unpredictable creation, where words, silence and breath are transformed into music.Three Times is an exercise in listening and collaboration, where distinct voices come together to imagine, collectively, new ways of being and hearing.
