Ana Borralho & João Galante
The struggle of a revolutionary, a group of women with black flags in hand, a corrosive text and an unforgettable song. These are the ingredients of Ana Borralho and João Galante's new creation, which, based on Rodrigo García's Deviam Ter Ficado em Casa, Seus Anormais and Exit Music (For a Film), the track included in Radiohead's album OK Computer, confronts the themes of oppression, resistance, and freedom by evoking Louise Michel, one of the most significant figures of the Paris Commune.
Ten women take the stage to raise the black flag of anarchy, highlighting the role of women in shaping political and social movements, and challenging their traditional representation outside of the public sphere. Louise Michel highlights the potential of their critical thinking as a catalyst for change and resistance.
